PLEASE PARDON OUR CONSTRUCTION!

The building that the Student Health Service occupies is undergoing renovation and construction to accommodate a new HVAC system and bring in the new Cheney International Center. This requires relocation of some Student Health offices and services to alternate locations in the building as specific areas are renovated, which will change as progress occurs. We are asking that you bear with us as there may be some confusion when you come to our facility and are not guided to the offices and exam rooms with which you are familiar. You’ll also encounter noise, vibration and construction dust! Our entrance on Prexy’s Pasture will not be available this summer, so use the east entrance (across from Ross Hall) as it will be the best bet for accessing the Student Health Service. Our staff will continue to bring you high quality comprehensive primary care health service during this transition period. Please check back to this site for updates.

 

The Student Health Service (SHS) is located in the Student Health/Nursing Building, the second building east of Old Main on the south side of Prexy’s Pasture.

Fall and Spring semesters
    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM   
   Thursday  9:00 AM - 5:00 PM 


Christmas and Spring Breaks
    Monday through Friday    8:00 AM - Noon, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM


Summer Hours
   Monday through Friday    7:30 AM - Noon, 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

 

Student Health Service is closed during holidays, winter closure and on weekends.  These hours are subject to change depending upon the needs of the university.  Only urgent needs are seen after 4:30 pm.  Valid urgent needs are seen whenever SHS is open.

Please call (766-2130) as far ahead as possible to make an appointment. Also, arrive at SHS 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you are late for an appointment, you may be required to reschedule.


The HPV vaccine is now available at Student Health Service for a cost: $140.05/dose (total of three doses over 6 months). Available for women up to the age of 27. No appointment is needed.
